From one of our past students:

"As an intern at HAVAR, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside a team that not only supports individuals with developmental disabilities but genuinely values and uplifts them. From the very beginning, I was welcomed into a professional environment that prioritizes dignity, respect, and person-centered care. The commitment to inclusion is obvious in every aspect of the organization, and it’s been inspiring to be a part of that mission. I’ve learned the importance of truly listening to people, supporting their choices, and building connections that reflect their unique goals and interests. HAVAR’s influence will stay with me as I prepare for graduation and my future. I’m incredibly grateful for the experiences I’ve had here and for the individuals who have helped shape my understanding of what meaningful support really looks like."
